uproro
A personal AI-assisted job-search pipeline. Open source.
Most job-search tools treat applications as the unit of work: paste a URL, generate a CV, click apply, track status. uproro inverts that. It treats people as the unit of work — because at senior levels a job search is a relationship search, and applications are downstream of relationships, not parallel to them.
Given a job posting, uproro identifies who at the company you should talk to, walks their public footprint to build a research dossier, drafts a three-paragraph cold email that opens with them rather than you, gates the send on your explicit approval, tracks the relationship state as they reply, books the meeting when it happens, and only then helps you fill out the actual application form.
What it is
- A single-user CRM and outreach pipeline for a senior job search.
- Driven by
/uproroslash commands in Claude Code. - Two CRM backends (flat files by default, Twenty CRM as opt-in); two calendar backends (SOGo CalDAV or Google); one email path (SMTP send + IMAP APPEND, all outbound gated on an explicit human approval token).
- AGPL-3.0-or-later. Free to fork, host, and modify, subject to the AGPL's terms.
What it is not
- Not a product. There is no roadmap, no support contract, no SaaS.
- Not a mass-outreach tool. Every send requires a per-message confirmation from the user.
- Not a Twenty CRM competitor, though it integrates with one.
